The EU referendum vote landed awkwardly into the life of DG: with a German wife, bilingual son, French grandmother and Irish ancestry the task of divesting himself from his European past was a near impossible one. Besides, his wife had had enough and decided it was high time to leave the UK. A poetry collection of wide-scoped rumination: identity, personal history, immigration viewed at first hand, nationhood, as well as a hard-headed scrutiny of modern political themes.
133 Poems, divided into 3 roughly equal parts:
Britain and Brexile
Memory and Memoir
and Metaphyisical Musings
